Mary’s A Novel In 52 Prompts is one of many incredible resources within her Book Incubator program. This template is easy to understand and follow. I don’t necessarily use every prompt, but I put them all into Scrivener and check in on them when I need a boost.

When I set out to write a novel, I decided to seek out expertise, especially involving  pacing and overall development, and I found the answer in Mary’s 52 Prompts. They are not a formula but more of a guide to put your creative ideas into a proper form. I am confident I could write many books using the prompts, and none of my books would appear formulaic, but rather well-structured and developed.
